Dia De Los Muertos

Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a celebration of life and death. While the holiday originated in Mexico, it is celebrated all over Latin America with colourful skulls and skeletons.
I love to work with colours. From the beginning of my Fashion Designing study i tried my best to work with colourful objects . the three colours of my collection will be Orange Maroon and Brown. There will be some shades of these colours as well.
On the other hand Punk Style is my point of interest. In general, contemporary street punks wear leather, denim, metal spikes or studs, chains and military style boots. They often wear elements of early punk fashion, such as kutten vests, bondage trousers and torn clothing. But in late 20’s Neo Punk is coming back with a variety .
For my collection I’m trying to collaborate the colors from the Day of The Dead with Punk Style . I will use the motif from my inspiration. The main motif will be skull and skeletons. I Guess the colorful skull and skeletons will merge with the Punk Fashion and it will make a great story and work.
